"We will allow cross traffic at Rafi Marg, Janpath, Mansingh Road and India Gate C-hexagon only after 12 noon. Traffic will flow on India gate C0hexagon between Akbar Road and Ashoka Road on both sides, though no traffic movement will be allowed between Akbar Road and Ashoka Road," said additional CP (traffic) Anil Shukla.

Those commuting to New Delhi Railway Station will not be much affected either on Ajmeri Gate or Paharganj side, assured traffic cops.

Meanwhile, traffic coming from south Delhi should avoid the route of the marathon and instead travel via Mother Teresa Crescent to reach Minto Road or via Subramaniam Bharti Marg to reach Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg.

Except for restrictions mentioned above, there will be free access to people for New Delhi Railway Station on both Ajmeri Gate and Pahar Ganj side.

"All invitees, participants and spectators intending to go to India Gate are requested to reach before 6.30am," added Shukla.
