36,743 citizens of Delhi join Kejriwal's civil disobedience movement

MUMBAI: On the first day of Arvind Kejriwal's fast, 36,743 citizens of Delhi have challenged the Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit, saying that they will no longer pay the illegitimately high electricity and water charges inflated due to her corruption.

They have joined Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) civil disobedience and have boldly given in writing they will no longer pay these bills.

In this unique civil disobedience movement, AAP volunteers fanned out across Delhi and carried the truth of the inflated water and electricity bills. The volunteers are explaining the collusion of Shiela Dixit, BJP and the discoms owned by Tatas and Ambanis.

Meanwhile, Arvind continued to fast in the house of a common man in a low income settlement at F145, Opposite Gagan Cinema, Near Murga Mandi, Sundar Nagri, Delhi-93. On the morning of the second day of his fast, Arvind's morale was high and charged with the warmth and support of thousands of aam aadmi.

In less than a few hours of campaigning, there was a overwhelming response from the common people who said their lives had become impossible due to the excessive bills and they were more than willing to join the civil disobedience movement collectively.
