The minimum temperature settled at 24.3 degrees Celsius, two notches below average for this time of the season. The Met office has forecast more rain later in the day.
"The skies will remain cloudy with the possibility of light rain and thundershowers later in the day," said an official from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum temperature will hover around 35 degrees Celsius.
According to the IMD, the national capital received 18.8 mm of rain since Thursday 8:30 pm to Friday 8:30 am.
Humidity at 8.30 am on Monday stood at 96%.
Since the arrival of the monsoon, the city has recorded 781.4 mm of rainfall.
Thursday's maximum temperature settled a notch above average at 35.1 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled a notch below average at 25.6 degrees Celsius.
