Fifth edition of Royal Fables’ annual exhibition kickstarts in Delhi

Members of India's erstwhile royal families were in attendance at this decidedly shahi do. As part of the fifth edition of Royal Fables' annual exhibition, held from October 18 to 20 in Delhi, an art exhibition curated by Sunaina Anand was put up on Day 2, with Paresh Maity as the guest of honour.

Royal Fables presents creations of designers, artistes, and craftpersons who find patronage in the leading royal families. It showcases the facts and fables of their arts and crafts, the royals' indulgent lifestyle, their textiles and their jewellery. Said Anshu Khanna, founder, Royal Fables, "Royal Fables today has become an annual festival that some of our most celebrated royals await and participate in with full gusto. It is their platform and my attempt to salute the creative outpourings of the scions of the erstwhile princely families, who, in the hustle-bustle of life, have not forgotten their vital role as craft patrons." Sameer Mutreja, director, Scapes, and Tarun Kapoor, MD, Audi Noida and Delhi West, along with Anshu, hosted the opening gala.
