Gautam Gambhir, who was supposed to flag off the cyclothon with Narain, turned up late and the organizers had to wait for him to flag off the kids' cyclothon. As soon as the cricketer reached the venue, there was a collective roar from the kids who had woken up on a Sunday morning to participate in the event. Sunita said, "We need to promote cycling in our country, and for the same, we need cycling lanes. We will keep fighting for it." Such was the enthusiasm of the kids who had come to participate in the event, that they were quite kicked about waking up early. Anahita, a student of Shri Ram School, Gurgaon said, "Usually, I go to Raahgiri, but today I came here. I enjoy cycling and it's nice to be here on a Sunday morning."
