NEW DELHI: Two policemen from Mukherjee Nagar police station were suspended after they failed to inform the family of an accident victim about the incident. The family protested outside the police station on Friday evening demanding an explanation.
The victim, Uttam Roy (25), had suffered head injuries after his bike was hit by an unknown vehicle. He was taken to a hospital by ASI Lala Ram who didn't try and find out his identity. Instead he left the bike in the custody of constable Naresh.
