AAP to form youth wing in Delhi

NEW DELHI: Aam Aadmi Party has announced formation of its youth wing as part of its restructuring and reorganizing the organization. The team will, for the time being, be active only in Delhi where AAP has a ready structure in place.

"The youth wing will bring together youngsters below the age of 35 years to work as its grassroot team. District in-charges have been asked to form their teams within a week and this organization will go all the way down to the booth level," said Praveen Deshmukh, frontal president, AAP.

The party already has a women's group, a vyapar mandal for traders and the business community, and a student's group. The new group will be led by Jarnail Singh, MLA from Tilak Nagar while Vishesh Ravi, MLA from Karol Bagh has been appointed its convenor.

AAP will check the age of members and students will also not be allowed to become members.
