NEW DELHI: A German couple, which is in India to enjoy some good time, recently noticed that their bag carrying 400 Euros was stolen by an unknown person when they were in Hauz Khas market. The incident happened in the last week of December 2012 when the couple - Kanwal Sethi and his wife Kide - had come back to national capital after visiting Agra.
The couple was to board a flight for Punjab on December 24 and before that he decided to go to Hauz Khas market that day and spend few hours there. "They realised later that their green bag containing 400 euros had been stolen by someone," said a senior police officer.
However, since the couple had to catch a flight that day, they could not approach the police then and filed a complaint on January 3 itself after returning from Punjab. Police officials say that they are investigating the matter and will look for the CCTV footage of the shops in Hauz Khas market.
