DTC to divert buses for Republic Day rehearsals

NEW DELHI: Keeping in view the Republic Day rehearsals on January 18, 20 and 21, which will start from Vijay Chowk at 10am and terminate at India Gate, the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) has made certain diversions in its routes during that period.

"To ensure smooth operation and convenience of commuters , because no traffic will be allowed on the route of the Rehearsal Parade, buses on some routes will make diversions at some points," said the DTC spokesperson. These include Sri Aurobindo Marg to Krishna Menon Marg, Safdarjung T-Point to Safdarjung Chowk, Subramanium Bharti Marg to Southend Road, Kushak road to Thyagaraj Marg, Shanti Path to Panchsheel Marg, Sardar Patel Marg to Simon Bolivar Marg, Dr Zakir Hussain Marg to S Bharti Marg, Park Street to Mandir Marg, Sher Shah Suri Road to Mathura Road.
