Dr Chaddha was asked about the neck injuries on Aarushi and Hemraj. He said a dental scalpel is hardly 1.5 inch long and has a cutting edge of just 1cm. "How can it inflict such injuries? Chaddha also told the court that this scalpel is not kept by any dentist at home for any emergency purpose and is rarely used in the practice," said defence counsel Satyaketu Singh.
The second witness was Rajinder Kaul who told the court that when he had gone to Dr Rajesh Talwar's house after the incident, "there was grief in the house".
