Speeding DTC bus kills biker in south Delhi

NEW DELHI: A 45-year-old man died after a speeding bus hit his motorcycle on MB Road near Okhla More in southeast Delhi on Thursday.

The victim, Sarvan Kumar Mishra, suffered severe head injuries after the bus hit his motorcycle from behind. The incident is said to have taken place around noon. He was rushed to AIIMS Trauma Centre where doctors declared him dead.

The driver and the conductor of the bus are absconding. Witnesses said the bus belonged DTC's old fleet, however, police are yet to confirm this.
