GHAZIABAD: Activists of a fringe right-wing group on Sunday staged a demonstration outside Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal's house here to protest against AAP leader Prashant Bhushan's remarks on Kashmir.

Activists of Hindu Raksha Dal also demanded the release of their leader Pinki Choudhary, who was arrested for attacking the AAP's Kaushambi party office on January 8.

Choudhary's parents also sat on a dharna outside Kejriwal's house demanding his release.

Besides staging the protest, the activists tried to stop Kejriwal's car when he was going to attend the party's PAC meeting being held in New Delhi.

Some Kashmiri priests also participated in the protest against Bhushan's remarks on Kashmir.

"We are against AAP's stand on Kashmir and hence, have come here to protest against its leader Prashant Bhushan's remarks on Kashmir," said a protester, Anuj.

On January 8, activists of the outfit had attacked the Aam Aadmi Party headquarters with bricks and stones to protest Bhushan's remarks on Kashmir.

Ghaziabad Police had arrested Hindu Raksha Dal's national convenor Choudhary along with 12 persons for the attack on AAP's office.

Bhushan had said earlier this month said that a a referendum should be carried out in Kashmir to decide on deployment of the army to deal with security threats in the valley.

However, the Aam Aadmi Party had distanced itself from his views.
