NEW DELHI: The NCR Planning Board's meeting on Saturday was deferred after the UP government informed it that none of its officers could attend the meeting. No new date for the meeting has been finalized yet.
Sources said a missive has also been issued by the PMO that the meet should be held only after the issues raised by the MoEF were addressed. The MoEF has raised objections to the proposal for allowing tourism in natural conservation zones. The UP housing secretary reportedly told NCRPB that its officials couldn't attend the meeting because of the poll code.
