The players were seen gorging on the starters. Ross Taylor was accompanied by his daughter, who was being pampered by all.
The evening also saw a seven-over cricket match between Kevin Pietersen's team, the hotel's guests, and golfer Shiv Kapur's team. What was interesting was the fact that each of the overs comprised three balls, and the match ended in a super over. KP's team won the match. Kapur said, "Kevin and I have known each other for a long time. We had a nice chat. Though I play golf, cricket's always been my first love."
