A bench of Justices Badar Durrez Ahmed and Siddharth Mridul directed the police to permit Anjuman-e-Haideri to put up a tarp at one of the mosques where prayers will be offered during Muharram.
The police will now videograph the area on Wednesday. HC further made it clear that police must videograph the site in its original state, and also once temporary structures erected and finally when these are removed.
It took up the case on Tuesday after Anjuman-e-Haideri mentioned before it in the morning that there was a fresh incident of vandalism Monday.
