NEW DELHI: Temperatures in Delhi have plummeted to new lows, bringing normal life to a halt and disrupting travel with 119 passenger trains cancelled on Friday. Air traffic was also affected due to widespread fog and major delays are reported at airports like Amritsar, Chandigarh, Gorakhpur and Lucknow.
Thick fog continues to affect most parts of the country with some places reporting zero visibility.
