The accident took place around 8.45pm near Batla House Chowk in Jamia Nagar. The deceased was identified as Haroon, a resident of Okhla village. Eyewitnesses said the truck was attached to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and was speeding with a towed generator attached to it at the time of accident.
Haroon who walking on the road was knocked down.
