NEW DELHI: A 26-year-old cyclist was crushed to death by a speeding chartered bus in northeast Delhi following which the vehicle was torched by an angry mob. Police had to use force to disperse the mob.
The incident was reported around 8pm. Bablu was heading towards his house towards his house when he was hit from behind by a speeding chartered bus. A police officer said the locals had chased and caught hold of the bus driver and thrashed him.
A team of officers from the local police station reached the spot and rescued the driver, The mob even pelted stones at police.
