Delhiites wake up to a foggy morning, 13 trains delayed

NEW DELHI: Delhiites on Wednesday yet again woke up to a foggy morning with the minimum temperature settling at 11 degrees Celsius.

"The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 23 degrees Celsius," a MeT official said.

The visibility recorded at 5.30am was 49 metres.

A Northern Railways official, however, said that around 15 north-bound trains were running behind their schedule due to early morning fog.

According to Delhi Airport website, five domestic and three international flights are running behind schedule. However, the cause behind the delay is not known.

The Met department had predicted that shallow or moderate fog is likely on Wednesday with the minimum and maximum temperature to stay at 11 and 21 degrees Celsius respectively," the official said.
