18-year-old woman brutally murdered in Delhi

NEW DELHI: In a shocking incident for the country's capital, an 18-year-old woman, who had gone to defecate in the fields near her home, was found brutally murdered this morning.

The incident was reported from Shabad Dairy area in northwest Delhi.

The woman's throat had been slit and the body was semi-nude indicating a sexual assault. However, medical reports are yet to confirm this.

The woman was to get married two months later and the cops are probing if the murder was a spurned lover's handiwork.
