Four arrested for murder of ex-MLA in Delhi

NEW DELHI: Closing in on the perpetrators of ex-MLA Bharat Singh's murder, special cell has rounded up four members of the Naveen Khati gang. Khati is active in Najafgarh area of southwest Delhi.

Four alleged members of the Khati gang were killed in Mitraon village and their bodies burnt in a car in Haryana on New Year Eve. The killings were carried out by gangster Ravinder Bholu and his aides. The Scorpio was recovered in Sonipat.

To avenge this quadruple murder, the Khati gang killed Bholu's uncle Rohtash on March 5.

"The arrested men are involved in Rohtash's murder and have been identified as Sagar, Vipin Sehrawat, Sunil and Rohit, a history-sheeter of Delhi Cantt area," DCP Sanjeev Yadav said. The cell is now interrogating them to ascertain the whereabouts of Ravinder Kala who is suspected to be involved in Singh's murder.
