Harsh Vardhan, BJP's chief ministerial candidate, has declared assets of more than Rs 1 crore this time. The sitting MLA from Krishna Nagar has immovable assets worth Rs 1.5 crore, and cash and funds amounting to Rs 28.6lakh.Hiswife, Nutan Goel, has immovable assets worth Rs 1.4 crore while her movable assets are worth Rs 8.9 lakh.

Vardhan, who is banking on his clean image, has also declared a case pending against him.

While Vardhan has car and home loans to repay, the couple owns properties in Krishna Nagar, Gautam Budh Nagar and Dwarka. They have two cars, a Zen Estilo and a Toyota Etios. In his affidavit filed in 2008, Vardhan had declared assets worth just more than a crore and no pending cases. His assets then were around Rs 45 lakh and his immovable property was worth Rs 1.29 crore. He didn't have any pending loans at the time.
