A trial court has sent BSP MP Dhananjay Singh to judicial custody till January 2 in connection with a rape case registered against him by a 42-year-old woman. The BSP leader was booked under Sections 376 (rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC after the woman filed a complaint at east Delhi's Pandav Nagar police station, claiming that he had raped her several times at gunpoint.
